Does any one know where I can find info on how to do a DIY installation of a small tear airconditioning system? Specifically the 1 HP Fujita.

You can find a step by step handbook at the ductless ac page at my source.

you cannot install them yourself and still have the factory warranty.I assume you mean a 1 ton Fujitsu ductless mini-tear. If you buy them through the Internet then the warranty is voided as well and they will not give you any tech service at all. I’m a dealer and will not even service and unit that I did not personally install.
