How Does Going Green Affect The Greenhouse Effect?

I’m responsibility a science project with my friends and i need help one one certain subject of it. I was assingned the greenhouse look and i need to know how going green helps reverse the greenhouse look. Can anyone help me?

Going green helps reserve energy. When you reserve energy you lower how much gases (ex: carbon dioxide) is released.
The greenhouse look is gases that go into the atmosphere and warm up the temperature much like a greenhouse.
Wow okay so um I clarified that really poorly which is sad since this is one of my surpass subjects, but hopefully you can know this enough to start on your project.
